Stealing Creation, Runescapes new combat/skills minigame

Stealing creation is a few days old already, It didn't appeal to me much so I didn't try it immediately, been chasing stars instead. Yesterday I gave it a go, I watched my son play before so I had a general idea what to do.

I did the little tutorial, all appeared to be OK so I decided to speak to the goblin to be put into a team

I stood in a square with some other players, lots of stats and numbers about not sure what it meant but the general idea is its trying to balance skill levels between teams, I guess its so the strategy would win the game not a 1 sided team, I believe this happens at Pest Control in the background trying to match similarly speced players.

The game started and I ran out grabbed some clay made an item to be able to get better clay then repeated until I could get some good level 5 clay, I then collected clay made stuff and banked it in our base, sometimes just taking clay and dumping it on the table for other to make stuff with.

I played 2 games and was pretty bored with it so decided to just have a play I tried pick pocketing people, this is when it started to be fun, there would be ancient mages there using Ice spells freezing everyone killing them very quickly (ancients is far to powerful for this game) I would jump out of a cloud and pick their pockets, often pinching their runes so they could no longer fight, bearing in mind I am 99 thieving so I can pick pocket anyone and only players over 79 thieving can pick pocket me.
I would then take the runes back to the base for points.

It is a very fast paced game, you do get time to think but the game seems to be over quickly because you are constantly doing things.

It will take a while to work out tactics but I personally don't think it has much to offer, certainly not enough to keep me at it.

The main complaint I see is that you don't get skill xp from it just combat, I am sure there was a reason for Jagex not giving skill xp in the first place but I would be very surprised if they don't change things so that the skilling aspect of the game is recognised.

A tactic I picked up when playing to get huge amount of points is to runecraft, get the clay and make runes you can do this without returning to base for as long as the clay source is there, when you have exhausted the clay go back and bank, there is a slight drawback to this, if you are killed returning to base you will lose all your hard work and the other team get it.

There is also a problem with the game in the fact you can collect all runes from your base, this will guarantee your team losing so anyone can sabotage the game for their friends on the other side.
Having said that the winning team gets a 10% bonus in points, not enough to be that bothered about winning the game.

The prizes are low spec armour that looks good but has no real place for fighting, some good tools for skillers that give extra xp when using them, hatchet, butterfly net, hammer, harpoon, knife, needle or pickaxe, this sounds fine but is the hatchet as good as a dragon with the extra xp or is it a rune one? same with the pick is it a rune pick with extra xp? if it is dragon and rune items will plummet in price, because it costs 20k points for the tools, 20k points can be obtained easily in 1, 20 minute game, the butterfly net, hammer, harpoon, knife, needle can only give better xp, I am looking forward to trying them.

How to Get a Good Life in Runescape (part 1)

We all like Runescape. It is a great online internet game.Runescape is very different than real life (obviously).

Do a Runesacpe player, after we finish the new player quest. We will go to mainland. There are lumbridge and vorrock village. We need start a new life which is very different from real life. How to get a good life in runescape is a very important thing for us.

At first, you need make friend. But in runescape, you will find that whatever you say will not be taken seriously at first. If you ask someone to be your runescape friend, they might assume you’re a moocher and only talking because you’re after their runescape items.
Runescape gold and good items are very important to players. So they can’t trust a newbie when you want to make friend or trade them.

But having a network of friends in runescape is part of the game. One of the best ways to make a good, lasting runescape friend in runescape is PKing. If you like to PK then find someone in runescape around your level. Ask them to team up (make sure they don’t backstab you!) and after you get your first kill together you’ll have a Runescape friend for life in runescape.

Another thing: if you’re trading something to a runescape player and it’s a fair price (it should be), then don’t hesitate to chat about stuff outside of the trade about runescape. Sometimes you might find that you’ll make a good runescape friend .Well,maybe he is just a kid of 10 years old.

At last, Pleasure make sure, however, that you don’t expect redundant anything from them. Sure, all Runescape friends do favors for each other. But the most common mistake that screws up Runescape friendships is one person always demanding lots of things from the other just because he’s a friend in Runescape.

Benefits Of Fishing In Runescape

Fishing is a very popular and profitable skill that is used to heal life or hp. Fishing is best used in conjunction with cooking, as you can fish then cook and eat/sell your catch for a higher price. There are a few different kinds of fishing and they all need some sort of equipment. Fishing equipment may be bought from Port Sarim.
At the start, the only thing you can fish are shrimp. To catch these you need to buy a net. Shrimp is only found in saltwater, so they
cannot be caught in rivers. A good place to catch shrimp is the coastline south of Draynor Village. To fish, (left) click on the "fishing spot" in the water. Once caught they can be cooked in the usual ways.

Levels 1-15: Fish Shrimp at the fishing spots south of Draynor Village. Cook the fish as you go, then put them in your bank if you
wish to use them later, but don't hope to sell them, most players prefer to buy higher healing items.

Levels 20-40: Fish for trout and salmon (when you can catch them) to the east of barbarian village by the bridge. Cook your fish, then put them in your bank. Also if you wish you may catch Tuna with a harpoon at Karamja, although it is unlikely that you will progress much in levels.

Levels 40-50: Fish for lobsters at Karamja dock. Either cook them there, drop any burnt lobsters, and fish for more and cook those till you have a full load to take back to the bank in Draynor. If you are after experience and not so much the lobsters, you gain experience the fastest by fishing trout and salmon till around level 45, when you can catch lobsters faster.

Levels 50-99: Fish for swordfish at Karamja dock. When you are near full with just swordfish, cook them. Any you burn drop, and fish for some more until you get a full load of cooked swordfish to Draynor Bank. Some players prefer to continue fishing for lobsters until around level 60, when they can catch swordfish at a decent rate.
